Our Environmental Policy

As Helco Petrokimya Sanayi Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, we are aware of the environmental impacts of our international petrochemical trade activities. We regard protecting the environment, contributing to a sustainable future, and efficiently utilizing natural resources as our most fundamental corporate responsibility.
Within the scope of this responsibility, the core principles we are committed to are as follows:

Legal Compliance and Continuous Improvement:
To fully and completely comply with national and international environmental legislation and legal regulations applicable in all geographies where we operate.
To regularly monitor and measure our environmental performance and develop new methods to reduce our environmental impact based on the principle of continuous improvement.
To set environmental goals and programs and effectively use all resources to achieve these goals.

Responsible Supply Chain and Logistics:
Environmental Risk Management: To adopt best practices to minimize the risk of environmental pollution that may occur during the storage, transport, and handling of the chemical substances we trade.
Emission Reduction: To prioritize increasing energy efficiency in our logistics operations (transport and storage) and promoting transportation methods that provide lower carbon emissions as much as possible (e.g., sea or rail).
Waste Management: To implement an effective waste management system to reduce, segregate, and recycle waste generated from our office and storage activities at the source.

Resource Efficiency and Awareness:
To take measures to increase resource efficiency in all our commercial and administrative processes (such as water, electricity, fuel, and office supplies consumption).
To regularly educate our employees on environmental awareness and sustainability issues and encourage them to integrate this policy into all their processes.
To raise awareness among our business partners, suppliers, and customers to prefer products and services with high environmental performance and that support sustainability.
